Discipleship 2024

The great commission that Jesus left us with was the charge to “make disciples”. This year at Crossroads we have taken intentional steps and are providing purposeful on-ramps for you to grow in your connection with Jesus. Why is discipleship necessary?


Discipleship is necessary because people need to know Jesus personally. Jesus commandedHis disciples to make disciples of all nations so that others could know Him. Discipleship is also necessary for you to be grown into maturity and transformed more into the person He has created you to be. Discipleship includes not only studying God’s Word but living a life of faith and walking in obedience to God. This is the year for all of us to go deeper!

    The goal of the ROOTED experience is for you to deepen your connection with God, His Church, and your purpose in the story God is writing through your life. ROOTED will inspire questions, conversations, and beyond-what-is-comfortable group experiences which are designed to help you find yourself in God's story. Every adult who attends Crossroads is challenged to be a part of this life transforming experience.

    As one of the 4 Markers of a Healthy Disciple, Crossroads is committed to Action.  We believe that Jesus’s ministry was not limited to one specific region or group. Therefore, as believers we are called to adopt Christ’s habits of sharing the gospel in our various spheres of influence. Each year we provide Community Impact  to live out the gospel by adopting the habits of Jesus.

  • community groups

    It is our belief that people grow best when they live in community. Even though the worship services at Crossroads provide a great venue for worship, community, and growth, they don’t necessarily offer a means of close personal discipleship. We encourage people to get involved in groups because they offer the environment where we can build connection with God and connection with others.

    Practices is one of our 4 Markers of a Healthy Disciple. If you have completed Rooted, then we have a next level opportunity for you to grow. Embark on a transformative journey with our "Practice Sessions" in 2024 where we invite you to explore the profound depths of spiritual disciplines, empowering you to integrate these spiritual disciplines into your daily life.

  • events

    Another one of our 4 Markers of a Healthy Disciple is Connection.  Crossroads provides All Church/ Men’s /Women’s events each year to not only provide connection with other people in our church family but which then seeks to funnel all people into relational Community Groups. Be watching for additional discipleship growth seminars (dates and topics to be determined).  If you are feeling disconnected at Crossroads, jump onto one of these “on ramps” for connection.
